NAAAP Awards deadline extended to June 15



API Heritage Month in May reminded us of the many AAPI leaders in our industry and community who are game-changers, pioneers, and lifelong movers and shakers. We invite you to nominate one for a NAAAP100, Inspire, or Pride Award. Details are available at https://www.naaap.org/programs/naaap100/    and the deadline has been extended to June 15, 2021, 11:59 PDT. 
 

Virtual Career Fair, June 17



NAAAP's Virtual Career Fair for job seekers with 1-15 years of experience is coming up on June 17, 2 - 5 p.m. EDT.  Participation is free for job seekers, regardless of race, ethnicity, or membership in NAAAP.  As of June 1, the confirmed recruiters and exhibitors are:

Leadership Convention '21

Today, we open registration for the annual 2021 Leadership Convention y NAAAP, which is
 being presented virtually this year with our theme of "Moving Fwd:".  Join us for all four half-day
days in August, with programming each day from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. PDT.  Please visit

  • Fri, Aug 6:  Career Fair & Development Day, which will have virtual employer booths, job skills trainings, networking sessions, and one-on-one resume reviews.
  • Fri, Aug 13:  ERG Summit for corporate employee resource group leaders, and an inaugural API Summit to discuss major issues in the Asian and Pacific Islander community.
  • Fri, Aug 20:  A Federal Summit for federal, military, and government employees, and a Women's Summit to discuss women's workplace equity and advancement. .
  • Fri, Aug 27:  Leadership Summit for our signature professional development and the NAAAP Awards Ceremony to recognize our NAAAP 100, NAAAP Pride, and NAAAP Inspire honorees  
Register to access all four days.  The ticket list price for non-members is $99 USD, but if you register in June as a Super Early Bird, you'll receive $40 off. Other discounts are available, please check with your chapter president. If you are an ERG member or leader from one of our sponsors below, email us about your reserved tickets.

 In May, the Center for Asian Pacific American Women, LEAP, and NAAAP collaborated on a video project inviting women to share their own narratives.  See our resulting video  and keep posting your videos and tag us, #herAAPIstory .  Details and tips are available here.

NAAAP PRIDE and NAAAP are excited to partner with our friends @generalassembly for a Pride Summit — June 3 - 11, a festival full of free workshops, speakers and discussions focused on looking at the world through a more inclusive lens with a spotlight on queer creators, founders, and organizers!
