1. NYC’s Noom, a weight loss app, has raised $540 million in a Series F funding. Silver Lake led the round and was joined by Greenwich’s Oak HC/FT, Temasek, Novo Holdings, Sequoia Capital, RRE and Samsung. Noom, which has 45 million downloads of its app, generated $400 million in revenues in 2020 almost twice the $237 million it made the year before. (www.noom.com) (TechCrunch)

3. NYC’s SevenFifty, a technology platform for the alcoholic beverage industry, has raised $23 million in a Series B funding. The round was led by Level Equity. SevenFifty, which connects buyers, distributors and retailers across the supply chain through an online and mobile sales and marketing toolkit, has more than 90,000 retailers on its platform. 4. NYC’s Clause, a “smart agreements” platform, has been acquired by DocuSign. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Clause had raised a total of $6.3 million from investors including Docusign, Seedcamp, NYC’s Lerer Hippeau, EOS VC Fund and Galaxy Digital. (www.clause.io) (Coin Desk)

5. NYC’s Boost Insurance, a digital insurance platform, has raised $20 million in a Series B funding. Investors included Fin VC, Gaingels, Hack VC, NYC’s Greycroft, Coatue and Conversion Capital. Boost enables companies in any industry to offer digital insurance products to their customers. (www.boostplatform.io) (PR Newswire)

6. NYC’s Stash, a banking and investment app, has hired Goldman Sachs to evaluate ways of going public. The company is reportedly considering a SPAC merger or IPO. (www.stash.com) (PYMNTS)

7. Facebook’s NYC employees will be allowed to return to their offices in NoHo, Flatiron and Hudson Yards in July. Office occupancy will be limited to 25% and masks and coronavirus testing will be required. In-person work will reportedly be optional until one month after the office returns to 50 percent capacity, which is expected by September. (New York Post)

8. NYC’s Back Market, an online marketplace for refurbished electronics, has raised $335 million in a Series D funding. General Atlantic led the round which valued the company at $3,2 billion, and was joined by Generation Investment Management, Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Aglaé Ventures, Eurazeo and daphni. The company has five million customers globally who purchase refurbished items such as laptop, phones and game consoles. Back Market is one of the many French startups in NYC. 9. NYC’s Lithic (formerly, Privacy.com), a credit card issuing platform, has raised $43 million in a Series B funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round and was joined by NYC’s Tusk Venture Partners, Index Ventures, Rainfall Ventures, Teamworthy Ventures and Walkabout Ventures. The company’s app generates disposable credit cards which allows users to use a new virtual card for every online purchase. (www.privacy.com) (Crowdfund Insider)\

10. NYC’s Vimeo, a spinout of NYC’s IAC, saw its stock drop 13% on Tuesday, its first day of trading as a publicly traded company. The stock closed at $45.39, giving Vimeo a market capitalization of about $8.5 billion. The stock is trading today at around $43. (www.vimeo.com) (Variety)

11. NYC’s Polywork, a professional social network, has raised $3.5 million in a seed funding. Caffeinated Capital led the round and was joined by angel investors including founders of YouTube (Steve Chen), Twitch (Kevin Lin), PayPal (Max Levchin) and Behance (Scott Belsky). Polywork gives users a chance to blend personal and professional profiles to offer a fuller portrait of who they are and what they have to offer. (www.polywork.com) (TechCrunch)
