WHAT'S ON
Youth Symposium
Learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur, understand the skills you will need for the jobs of the future and turn your dreams into reality at the Future State Youth Symposium on Wednesday, June 9.
Orange Blossom Festival
OBF is back! Attendees will be treated to a lights, beats and eats bonanza with stunning LED light displays, live music acts and mouth-watering street food, from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday, August 28.
LATEST PROJECTS
Anthony Skarratt Reserve
Council has adopted a Master Plan for Anthony Skarratt Reserve, which aims to provide access to recreation and sport, as well as community facilities and services to the growing Box Hill community. 
Local traffic improvements
A new roundabout, Give Way signage, bus stops and pedestrian refuge were approved recently as part of a suite of local traffic initiatives. The works will boost safety and improve travel times.
HAVE YOUR SAY
Burbank Place 
Have your say on the planning proposal, draft Development Control Plan and a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement for Burbank Place, Norwest. Submissions close Thursday, June 17.
Secondary dwellings 
A planning proposal to set a maximum size criteria for secondary dwellings (granny flats) in the Shire’s rural zones, is now on exhibition. Submissions will close on Friday, June 4.
