Our confidence as leaders should be found in ‘growing’ not ‘going’. We need to remember that who we are - and whose we are - is far more important than what we do.

A church/organisation/leader avoids permanent death by recognising it will no longer flourish unless conditions are drastically changed to facilitate growth - investing in relationships with people, and prioritising worship of God create the environment in which healthy fruit can result from our ‘going’.

What changes do we all need to make in order to make sure we keep growing?

This month's "Hidden Figures" features Daisy Bindi

This history highlights the astonishing feats of leadership shown by Daisy Bindi. In a time when indigenous people were considered non-human (selah) and forced to a lifetime of unpaid labour, Daisy led almost 100 people to rebel against unjust laws, walking off their place of enslavement and into a strike. This was during a time when it was not unusual for gangs of indigenous people to be chained together for not other reason than forced unpaid labour.
