The Farmer's Daughter host, Evelyn Golden, discusses gardening tips and tricks on each episode. She was born & raised on a farm and enjoys sharing her gardening knowledge.
Intern Corner: Samantha Doucette
Samantha Doucette is a senior at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. She is a digital media journalism major. She has been interested in journalism since she was in high school and took TV for all four years. She started college at Salem State University as a public relations major then transferred after two years. She missed working in a studio. She is a part of ECTV at Endicott College. She hopes to work in any broadcasting field, sports or tv production are her main goals.

This Month's Production Tip:
"Rack Focus"
Simply put, a rack focus refers to the act of adjusting which object(s) are in focus during a continues shot. In the video above, you will see that they start with the background in focus, and the foreground out of focus. They then rack focus to the phone, making the foreground in focus, and the background out of focus. This is a prime example of a rack focus. Using this technique is a great was to draw your viewers attention to your subject, or an object on screen.
