NFPA Awards Fifteen Fluid Power Scholarships
 
The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation has awarded $2,000 scholarships to fifteen students pursuing fluid power technology fields of study.

ACTION REQUIRED: NFPA Technical School Core Competencies for Electrical and Data Acquisition & Controls Survey 

NFPA is conducting a survey to determine how fluid power is being taught across the U.S. We have developed a new survey to assess which technical schools are teaching industry-selected core competencies for Electrical and Data Acquisitions & Controls. Click here to access the survey and send to Amy Zignego once completed. FORCE America Brings Together Community for Fluid Power Action Challenge

FORCE America, a longtime NFPA member and Action Challenge host, held their Action Challenge at Alexandria Technical and Community College on May 7 with co-sponsors SMC, Braas, Eaton and Power Systems, LLC. The challenge brought together eight teams consisting of 29 students from five area schools, some of which had multiple teams competing. $500 Action Challenge Grant

Grants worth up to $500 are available to schools participating in a Fluid Power Action Challenge and hands-on fluid power education. Contact Joe Zwier with questions.

Need to Update Your Training Equipment?

Do you need new equipment or components to upgrade your fluid power lab or test benches? Many NFPA members are willing to donate parts to educational organizations for classes and projects. NFPA can help put you in contact with a fluid power company in your area. Submit your request to
