We’re driving into June with the reminder that the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Freight Carrier Registration Program remains open to interested applicants! Keep in mind that you must have uninterrupted authority with the FMCSA for at least three years. Shifting into high gear for the month of June and the beginning of summer on June 21st means that we’re counting down to Independence Day and the Fourth of July. This year’s Fourth of July should be one of the best celebrations in recent memory as people plan to come together like we haven’t been able to in more than 15 months. It’s also a good time to remember all of the drivers, support staff and others who helped keep the US trucking during the pandemic and helped bring us to this point where we’re emerging strong in the transportation industry. Professionally, make sure you’re prepared to work around the July 4th holiday. And personally, make plans to be with your loved ones, friends and associates to celebrate our nation’s birthday.
