Note from Rev. Belinda Lightheart

Myrtle Fillmore, Unity’s co-founder, is noted for having said, “Don’t try to do everything. Leave something for God to do.”  When we gather via Zoom on Sunday the sixth of June, we will spend time exploring our own conscious co-creation of practicing the Presence, a process Charles Fillmore often referred to as “Going to Headquarters.”

What does practicing the Presence mean to you?

Over time, each of us has discerned what a spiritual practice is in our own lives. Whether it is a daily walk, sacred readings, simple kindnesses, demonstrations of care, moments of mindfulness, or acts of service, we have come to understand the value of a regular spiritual practice.
During our time together, we will allow Spirit to guide us in how our own spiritual practice might be enhanced, improved, or expanded. We will open our minds and hearts to seeing with new eyes and hearing with new ears while being divinely guided to practice the Presence.

Much love,
Rev. Belinda

From Our Prayer Chaplain Elizabeth Griffin

Father Mother God,

We ask for your blessings for our Unity Church and our Unity Zoom Church.

Our Zoom services held us together due to the virus epidemic.  Now many of our members would like to worship in a church building. Many of our church members would like to stay with Zoom and worship from their living rooms.

We see our Board of Directors divinely guided to the right solution for the best outcome for all our congregation.

We pray for our Board and our congregation to come together in peace, understanding, harmony, and love.  Divine Order brings us together.

Thank you Living, Loving Spirit.

Amen
