Pfizer 2ND DOSE COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for Individuals Age 12+

Saturday, June 5, AND Saturday, June 12
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Day Kimball Hospital

Day Kimball Healthcare is please to host two second-dose Pfizer vaccination clinics at Day Kimball Hospital for individuals age 12 and up who received their first dose at one of last month's Pfizer clinics at the Hospital:

Saturday, June 5: Second-dose clinic for individuals who received their first COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine at Day Kimball Hospital on Saturday, May 15. Please return to the Hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for second dose. No appointment needed. 
 

Saturday, June 12: Second-dose clinic for individuals who received their first COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine at Day Kimball Hospital on Saturday, May 22. Please return to the Hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for second dose. No appointment needed. 

Patients under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Remember to bring your vaccine card. Please wear a mask and clothing that will provide easy access to upper arm.

On Tuesday, May 25, the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut hosted its annual Hospice Memorial Garden Planting Ceremony virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The remembrance ceremony honored hospice patients who have passed away in the last year and was broadcast live through DKH's Facebook page. During the ceremony community members watched along as a flower was planted in memory of each hospice patient. Watch now >

Lori Hamilton Named 2020 Employee of the Year 

Lori Hamilton, clinical coordinator in the medical/surgical department at Day Kimball Hospital, has been named employee of the year for 2020! Lori's selection was revealed through a video release, and was formally announced in-person at DKH’s staff appreciation barbecue held at Day Kimball Hospital on Thursday, May 27, where Kyle Kramer, chief executive officer of Day Kimball Healthcare, and Janice Thurlow, chairman of the Day Kimball Healthcare Board of Directors, presented her with the award. Read more >

Evan Combs, laboratory services specialist, has been named our employee of the month for May! Evan began working at Day Kimball Hospital in June 2018.
