A Department of Energy adviser has returned to the Hill for his first day with Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas).
Michael Helmer started today as a legislative assistant handling energy, environment and agriculture issues for Weber, who is ranking member of the House Science Committee's Energy Subcommittee.
Helmer most recently worked as a DOE legislative-affairs adviser. Before moving to the agency in 2019, he worked for then-Rep. Leonard Lance (R-N.J.).
