Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program!

The Tails and Tales Summer Reading Club is for all ages! The Tails and Tales theme means you can expect all things animal this summer!

The summer reading club encourages you to read 20 minutes daily with the goal of reading a total of 10 hours over the course of the summer.

If you are a little one, or the parent of a little one, who has not started kindergarten yet, be sure to sign up for our 1000 Book for Kindergarten Program in Beanstack too! Any book you log will count towards both programs!

We have a great line up of virtual and drive thru programs on the calendar for you to participate in! Watch an event online while exploring a take and make STEM or craft kit! Watch a live zoo animal cam, or enjoy a FREE ice cream! No matter what program you choose to do though, be sure to stop by Hillsboro City Park and check out our new Storywalk®!

The Tails and Tales Summer Reading Club runs from Thursday, June 3, 2021 to Friday, August 6, 2021! To find out when a particular event is happening, be sure to check the events calendar on the library's website.
