Class of 2021

The Class of 2021 ended their senior year on a brighter note than it began, having maskless, in-person graduations and a chance to celebrate. Each year we recognize the top graduates of our six Catholic high schools. Give special notice this year to Ozark Catholic Academy in Tontitown, which hosted its very first graduation. We also highlight some exceptional seniors who have already made their marks in unique ways.

JUST ONE MINUTE

“It is the baptized’s specific vocation and mission to express the Gospel in their lives and thereby to insert the Gospel as leaven into the reality of the world in which they live and work.” (St. John Paul II) The word Gospel means "Good News." As disciples of Jesus, we have the Good News of salvation; we have experienced God’s transforming love and mercy. His love has been poured into our hearts. We can experience stress, suffering, love and joy in profoundly different ways because God lives in us and actively cares for each of us.

Reflection: Take some time today to experience God’s nearness. How can you briefly and joyfully “insert the Gospel” in your life today?

— Deacon Danny Hartnedy

QUOTE UNQUOTE

"Even if our prayers were only mutterings, if they were compromised by a wavering faith, we must never stop trusting in him, Don't forget: 'Jesus is praying for me.' In the moment of trial, in the moment of sin, even in that moment, Jesus with so much love is praying for me."

— Pope Francis June 2
