Thanks to our members, young and old, who participated in the church cleanup day last Saturday! Special thanks to our deacons for organizing, working hard, and somehow locating pine straw. The grounds look great!

FAIRVIEW COLUMNS
Fairview Family, we love worshiping with you so much we're doing it twice on Sunday! Join us for Sunday school at 10 followed by our 11 a.m. worship service and then again at 6 p.m. for a special ordination and installation service of your assistant pastor. Stick around after that service for a reception in the Family Life Center.

We are in need of another children's Sunday School teacher and a few assistant teachers. Email me to help.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

AUDIO/ VISUAL SPECIAL OFFERING
Thanks to your generosity, we now have enough funds to purchase audio/ visual equipment for our sanctuary. Thank you for giving! Stay tuned for further announcements regarding these technological improvements.

ELDER NOMINATION
We will be taking nominations for one additional ruling elder during the month of May. You may complete a nominations form in the back of the sanctuary and place in the box on the back table.

ELDER APPRECIATION RECEPTION
June 6, following service
In appreciation of the faithful service of Henry Peden and Joe Peden, we will honor them and then have a reception in the Family Life Center after that morning's service. Please join us afterwards to thank these ruling elders for their work at Fairview over the years.

Please pray for: Dottie Spaar recovering from surgery, Pete Coghlan at NHC Mauldin following a stroke, Troy's sister, Sara, with kidney issues, John Martzin's friend, Jeff, had surgery for a malignant brain tumor. Raymond Laxton, Loretta Woods with health issues, Carl Chadbourne in rehabilitation at Rolling Green, and for the physical and spiritual health of the church.
