Dear family, friends & clients,

Warmer weather is finally here and NYC is making large strides in coming back from the COVID-19 induced shadow of its former self. Restaurants are buzzing with old friends catching up, parks are once again filled with children on play dates, and our favorite stores are able to welcome more customers. Manhattan office buildings are beginning to reopen helping to alleviate some of the economic chokehold this crazy pandemic had on our beloved island.

In typical real estate fashion, warm weather means an even warmer market. Per Pamela Liebman, we just had the strongest April on record with almost 1,700 contracts signed in addition to being the strongest month for sales since June 2007. Categorically, every facet of the market was up from resales to co-ops to the $5M+ market. We're so thankful the pied-a-terre tax was not passed, further helping to drive demand in our dear city. 

I've recently started using Citi Bikes to get around town and I absolutely love it. It's much cheaper than Uber and gets me to my favorite restaurants in the same amount of time. I encourage you to check out yoga at the Edge for a fantastic way to start your day, absorbing the energy that is NYC. Once you're finished with that and have reenergized your spirit, consider a home detox, especially if you're thinking about selling.
