Weekend Worship: Trinity Sunday !
This Sunday marks a transition into the “non-Festival” half of the church year. Trinity Sunday puts a cap on the completed work of salvation as we are called to consider the awesome mystery of our God even as we stand in certainty of what the Trinity has done. It is only by seeing all that our Triune God has done for us in his love that we can be equipped and motivated to live as his children. Since we can’t well explain how one God can be three persons, we better spend our time today looking at what the Bible proclaims the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do for us. The Apostle Paul points us to this love of the Trinity-words which we will be our focus in Romans 8:14-17 (click here to read).

Graduate Teacher Assigned

We have been blessed to receive a post-Graduation assignment from Martin Luther College to fill our need for a 2nd grade teacher for the 2021-22 school year. We are thankful for the assignment of Moriah "Mo" Poehlman and look forward to having her join our ministry! Ms. Puehlman grew up in Green Bay and attended Manitowoc LHS. She is engaged to Alex Quist, who was recently assigned to Winnebago Lutheran Academy. Her favorite section of Scripture is Romans 7-9. She enjoys snorkeling, hiking, downhill skiing, hockey, fishing and painting. She'll come to Oshkosh with a new puppy named Noodle, and is "thrilled and honored to accept her call" as she joins our ministry at Martin Luther. If you'd like to welcome Ms. Poehlman, you can send an email through this link.
