Mountain Grove officially opens for the season in just three days!
Following is a friendly reminder about the Club's rules.

A. Club Hours and Use
- The Club is open daily. Hours are posted on the website: www.MountainGroveSwimClub.com
- On Adult nights, the Club is open until midnight for members and their guests age 21 and over. Children must leave the Club by 7:00 p.m.
- On Family Nights, the Club is open until 11:00 p.m. for members and their guests.
- Members and registered guests MUST sign-in at the sign in booth or guard station (in the event nobody is at the sign-in booth).
- The pool may be closed for maintenance, health conditions or weather at the discretion of the Club Manager or appointed designee.
B. Pool Rules
- Shower before entering the pool.
- No smoking in pool area.
- No glass containers permitted in pool area.
- No running, pushing or unsafe play allowed in pool.
- Use of water balloons are not permitted in pool area.
- No tubes, jackets, masks, toys, pool noodles, flippers or other floatation devices in the main pool.
- Children must be potty trained to be allowed in the main pool.
- Use of the wading pool and sandbox shall be limited to children under 8 years old.
- Children who have not passed the Beginner’s Swim Test shall not be allowed in the main pool unless accompanied by a responsible person.
- Admission to the pool may be refused to anyone with severe cold, cough, inflamed eyes, infection or wearing bandages.
- The main pool will be closed for general swim when swim lessons are in progress.
- Lawn chairs will not be removed from the pool area.
C. Tennis Court Rules
- Adults have priority after 5 p.m. daily and all day on weekends.
- Tennis courts are for tennis play only.
D. Baby Sitting Policy
- Babysitters are free while caring for guest children with no charge against their guest privilege.
- All babysitters must be at least 13 years of age.
- Members under 14 years of age and accompanied by a babysitter may not bring guests.
- All babysitters must sign in at the sign-in booth and are subject to all rules and regulations of the Club.
- Babysitters are not allowed to bring guests.
- Any time you use a babysitter, the babysitter should be authorized to make health care decisions in the event of an emergency, if you cannot be reached.
- The babysitter must have an emergency number where you can be reached at all times.
- The Staff has the authority to suspend a babysitter’s privilege and prohibit them from entering the Club in that capacity.
E. Guest Usage and Rates
- A guest is a non-member invited by a member.
- All guests MUST be accompanied and registered by a member upon arrival.
- Each membership level is allowed 40 guests per season.
- A guest privilege is defined as use of the entire Club, by one person, for one day.
- Guest fees are: Daily: $6.00 for both adults and children. Weekly: $50.00 for a family that are your houseguests. Weekly guests must be approved by the Club Manager.
- Each member’s parents are free with no charge against their guest privilege.
- Single members have the privilege of one free guest, per day, in addition to the privileges outlined above.
- On Adult Nights, guests are free with no charge against the member’s guest privilege if
- signed in after 7:00 p.m.
- Guest fees will be charged to a member’s account and billed at the end of the season.
- The use of Club facilities for functions for large civic, fraternal, or professional organizations is prohibited.
- No live bands or DJs are permitted without Board approval.
- Parties must be reserved in advance with the Club Manager and are subject to the discretion of the Manager, who will consider staff availability, other prior approved partiers and or planned programs, weekends and holiday use and any other circumstances in the interest of the membership at large.
F. Miscellaneous
- No pets are allowed on Club property.
- No skateboarding, bicycling, inline skating or scooters allowed on Club property.
- PLEASE, drive slowly and carefully while on Club property and park only in designated areas.
- Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible person, at all times.
- Food must be consumed in the Grove area only.
- Tablecloths are to be used on all picnic tables.
- Members are responsible for leaving their table and the area around their table clean.
- Members are also responsible for leaving the locker rooms and the rest of the facilities clean.
- Facility staff will remove any item placed on a table by a member not at the Club.
- The Club will be closed for general activities when planned group programs are in progress (e.g., Club Elementary Field Day).
- Music will be played at a low volume at all times and turned off when un-attended.
- All persons using any Club facility do so at their own risk.
- The Club will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
