New Classes Coming!

This is a monthly event that runs for 6 months consecutively.  Each member is a hostess and receives the hostess benefits.  We make 2-3 projects each month with your $30 order.  This is a great class if you are looking for new techniques, idea, or more embellishments to your projects. New members receive a board book to keep a sample and instructions of the technique handy.

I hold them usually the 3rd week of the month on Sunday afternoon (2pm-4pm) and two on Thursday (am/pm).  The AM class is full-but I still have room in the Thursday evening one (7pm-9pm) and the Sunday one.  Click on the button below to check out the dates.  
If you are unable to come to your scheduled class, you can come to one of the other two.  You will need to place your order with your usual club date, but you can make the projects at another club.  I also can package up your supplies if you are gone that month.  This is a 6 month commitment-but you can join as a guest anytime!  (it just won't count for a hostess month).

Pastel Assortment Tips & Tricks

• Use a sharp blade and shave off some pastel chalk powder into a small container.  Spread on top of water in a container.  Place your surface face down on the top of the water.  It will pick up the chalk floating on the water!  Set with hairspray.
• Stamp your image with VersaMark.  Use a scratch piece of paper to color the pastel onto.  This will leave just enough to dust the VersaMark to bring out the image.
• Use Sponge Daubers or Blending brushes to color your Basic White cardstock for a gradient background. 
• Stamp your line image onto a piece of cardstock with Memento Black.  Use pastel piece and draw small areas to color in your image.  Use a Water Painter to blend the color into your image.
