Dear Bateman Families & Friends,
We are officially in the final month of our school year together - a month that brings us all a heightened sense of encouragement. Encouragement that we are moving towards a more normalized way of life; that we are able to host an in person celebration for our 8th Grade Graduates; that we have the opportunity to welcome prospective families to our school community; and that we can spend an extra moment in the warmer weather.
We are continuously encouraged by the commitment of our students, staff, and community to our wonderful school and have been given a great opportunity to come together in a very unique and special way. Please join us in supporting the Bateman experience for all students by participating in the Virtual Pajama Party Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 8th! The virtual auction is officially open now until June 15th! Check out nearly 100 items to bid on!

21-22 New Student & Kindergarten Enrollment is Open!
Each Wednesday from 9am - 12pm
All neighborhood families with incoming Kindergarteners or new students will need to register for the 2021-2022 school year! Please begin the process here. All families are encouraged to register as early as possible to plan accordingly for the school year. Kindergarten Families are encouraged to complete the registration form by May 28th! The sooner, the better!
**All families who live outside of the Bateman boundaries will need to apply at go.cps.edu. Please see the Bateman Website for more information regarding enrollment.**
Steps for Registration:
1. Complete the Online Registration Form
2. Come to the North Office on Wednesdays from 9am - 12pm to pick up your enrollment packet
3. Return your completed paperwork to the North Office

Bateman Ask A Teacher
Every Wednesday at 12:15pm | Join HERE!
Every Wednesday from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm two teachers from Bateman host an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, think Geek Squad meets customer service. Parents or supervised students may hop on to receive assistance or have their questions answered. Everything ranging from how can you get a Chromebook for your child to what is your teacher's favorite pizza topping.
This week our hosting teachers will be Mr. Parsons and Mr. Fernandez!

Technology Collection

This year, CPS is requiring all student Chromebooks and chargers to be collected. Please make sure to return your Chromebook on the designated day (below) for Remote Learners to Door 4. Each device will be turned in individually. If you have multiple children, we welcome you to turn in your children's Chromebooks at the same time. Please contact Mr. Colon with any questions.

Family and Community Engagement in Education (FACE2) has launched a series of virtual workshops that help families build on their strengths. Offerings will be designed by experts and include various topics in the following areas:
