This PRIDE month is gonna be UNMATCHED

Hello friends,
This June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month! We're thrilled to share the latest Unmatched news with you since our January newsletter. Some big updates:
- Our Field Day on June 12 is almost here! Free tickets are still available: LGBTQ+ youth, allies, friends, family, and volunteers should RSVP on our Eventbrite.
- In anticipation of the field day, and to gear up for our launch planned for this Fall, our GoFundMe Fundraiser is now live! We've raised $700 of our $2000 goal. We're asking for donations of $10-$25 dollars, if you can give.
- It's almost Pride Month, and the US is at 50% adult vaccinations, which means, we're tabling at an event near you! If you'd like us to come out and table at an event or get-together near you, please share the lead and come hang out!
Cheers,
Olanrele Oni

The UA Fieldhouse on Fayette St is a gorgeous facility! We're so thankful to Living Classrooms for partnering with us for the field day, and for supporting our mission encouraging LGBTQ+ youth to participate in sports and fitness!

Big news! We're grateful to share that Under Armour will be partnering with us for the Field Day on June 12. Thanks to Regan and Jenna at the UA Teammate Resource Group, Unified. Unified will be adorning our team with t-shirts! Shirts will be available for sale for $20 at the field day. Proceeds will directly support our fall pick-up games.
What's Unified, you ask? Unified provides opportunities for community, career, and culture engagement for UA LGBTQ+ teammates and allies to come together. They're also responsible for the UA cool pride collections each year!

We are so grateful for our first grant!
Many thanks to Leveling the Playing Field, who have provided Unmatched with ample sports equipment from their storage warehouse. Kaitlin and Brandon and the LPF team are literally game-changers! As Kaitlin said it best, "It was so energizing to hear about all of your efforts to build an inclusive and engaged sports community..." - Hey, right back at ya!

We were thrilled to attend the Howard County Rainbow Conference this past May 15. So many amazing speakers and fulfilling energy! A lovely note from Danielle (the conference lead) to the attendees the day after the event: "Thank you for your courage, your sensitivity, your love, and for being there today - and especially for giving our young people MANY people to look up to today. "
We are grateful to say we had an excellent session for our session on youth sports at the 4pm timeslot. If you missed it and are curious, take a look at our presentation slidedeck here.
Many thanks to Danielle, her team, and to our session moderator, Alyson!

Many thanks to Baltimore Safe Haven for the opportunity to table at the Community Day on May 22nd at the Ynot Lot in the Station North Arts District. Big thanks, Jabari!
The weather was fantastic and allowed us to meet many other organizations, like Queer Crisis Response Unit, Charm City Care Connection, Star Track, Out for Justice, Bmore Blxck, Freestate Justice, and many more. A day of meeting neighbors, partying to DJ Scottie B and a impressive roster of rappers, and tasty food courtesy of Nancy by Snac.

Perhaps you've spotted us at a Earthtreks near you? We are so pumped and thankful to have tabled at the Earthtreks Hampden Queer Climbing Night and at Earthtreks Columbia these past couple of weeks!
The timing was kismet and we look forward to meeting more avid fitness nuts at upcoming events this summer!
Thanks Jenna, Ari, and Amanda!
