Primary elections are June 22 for our city council representative, our Bronx Borough President, and our Mayor, Comptroller, and Public Advocate, among others. Those who win the primary nearly always win the general election. Yet only 7% of Mott Haven residents turned out to vote in the last local primary election. South Bronx Unite needs your help as we launch a voter engagement project that seeks to increase primary turnout; raise awareness about early, absentee, and ranked-choice voting; and engage voters on many of the issues that matter most and where each candidate stands on them.
