Montana Conference Virtual Convocation Weekend
In lieu of Camp Meeting this year, the Montana Conference is hosting an online convocation weekend on June 11 and 12. As much as we wanted to have an in-person event, logistically, we simply could not make it a reality. However, we believe you will be extremely blessed to get to know our new conference president and the vision moving forward for the Montana Conference. We will begin Friday evening with a "Get to know the President" live stream. On Sabbath morning, we are planning a Sabbath School discussion and a message presented by Elder Ken Norton. If your church has internet, we invite you to stream some or all of this virtual event in your churches. Times and streaming information will be available on our website, montanaadventist.org, as we near the dates of this event.

Roundup Church Participates in 24th Highway Cleanup
For the 24th anniversary of our Highway Cleanup responsibility, the Roundup church was blessed with terrific weather. One of those rare days in Montana with bright blue skies, no wind, and mild temperatures.
And as always, the hunt for treasures was on. This year’s finds included:
- A yellow bucket that proved useful for holding more trash
- A bull snake that while even when smashed on the road was able to try attacking
- Three gloves
- Multiple cigarette packs
- Unopened mail - at least three envelopes
- Masks
- Black and white baby photos. The church member that found those jokingly hoped they were his. He’s never seen any from when he was a baby. Evidently, he wasn’t the first child, we kidded him.
- An unbroken turn signal assembly. We thought that maybe this came from a vehicle that struck a deer.
- A magnetic sign. This we stuck to a guard rail in hopes that the owner would see and claim it.
If you’d like to start your church’s relationship with the Montana Department of Transportation, give them a call. God gave the world to us. Let’s keep it a little cleaner.
After cleanup, we once again joined for a fellowship meal at the Harris homestead. The Harris clan loves bird watching. An afternoon at their home is a chance to see God’s handiwork in birds and blooms. Tom Harris also holds a bird walk each 4th of July at the Roundup Riverwalk. You can check out his bird list here:

Sheep Number 5
Sheep number five was a very curious sheep. She was also very sneaky and every day when the shepherd led the sheep out of the sheep fold, down the road, across the little creek, and up the other side where the green grass grew, she would look as far as she could look down the road toward the purple mountain and she would wonder "I wonder what's down the road. It must be so exciting to be up on the purple mountain." One day, when the shepherd wasn't watching real close, sheep number 5 begin to sneak...
