For six years, the artAbility project has worked with local artists and University of Idaho-Moscow students to host art workshops for adults with disabilities in the community. Turning the Page: Shared Reading Through AAC

This training analyzes current research and best practice in shared reading and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Participants will leave with a more in-depth understanding of how to support children with complex communication needs while developing their emergent literacy skills. The presentation will also examine the ways to build a shared reading program utilizing various AAC systems or tools. Learn and register through the ITC.
