Summer Reading is almost here and we are so excited! We have programs for all ages, kids & adults, to encourage learning through reading and exploring.
Our annual Friends of the Library book sale will be on July 3rd, during Freedom Fest, so mark your calendars for some great deals.
We are also doing a book walk "TALES through TOWN" June 27th - July 10th. Follow the pages through town to read the story. Older kids and adults can pick up activity pages, including a scavenger hunt, at the library.

Join us at the Balsam Lake Public Library this summer for an exciting 6 weeks!
Read each week to earn coupons for local businesses and complete “badges'' to enter
prize drawings.
We will have events every Tuesday & Wednesday, including magicians, raptors, reptiles, painting, gardening and more!
Most events will be held at our local Pine Park. Suggested items to bring are blankets/outdoor chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, wipes and water to drink.
Visit our Little Free Libraries! Take a book and return a book. Anytime - 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. Our Little Free Libraries are located at the beach, Pine Park and the Polk County building.
