COVIDSafe Update.

Dear SBMT Community,

It seems there is a little déjà vu currently with a lockdown again in place. This time however, unlike during the 2020 footy season, it is hoped that it won’t be for too long.

There will be no Auskick, no matches, no training and no functions until after the current restrictions are lifted. We hope to provide further clarity about the details of our return to normal operations at the Club mid-week next week.

As many of you will have heard there are some exposure sites in our local area, and we are aware of some of our SBMT community who are needing to quarantine for 14 days or isolate until receiving a negative result from a COVID test. Please check the list of exposure sites and email president@stbedesmentonetigers.com.au if you are required to isolate as a result of exposure. It is important that we are aware of any affected club members to ensure any further notification to teams can occur if required.

Any club members experiencing even the slightest of COVID symptoms are encouraged to get tested and isolate.

You can find the details of exposure sites here:

 https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites

Even though this is a short lockdown, there may be some of our SBMT community who will find it tough. Please remember to check in with your team mates and footy friends, especially those who may live alone.

Lastly,

  • 📲 remember to check in with your QR code,
  • 💉 get vaccinated if you’re eligible,
  • 😷 wear a mask,
  • 🙌🧼 sanitise or wash hands regularly,
  • ↔️ practice social distancing,
  • 🦠 get a COVID test if any symptoms and isolate.

Stay safe Tigers!
