It's Budget Season! The City of Menlo Park is in the midst of finalizing the upcoming Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Budget (note, the City's budget cycle runs from July 1st to June 30th). In an effort to aid residents and stakeholders in navigating and understanding the budget, I put together a Cliff's Notes-type budget overview, with a slide presentation and video walk through. As I mention in the video, one of my core values and goals is to make government more accessible. I hope the information provided enables you to get more involved in local decision making and to actively participate in making our community stronger. Enjoy!
Warmly,
Jen Walks Through the '21/22 Proposed Budget
