Graduation season is upon us and is the perfect time to reflect on the experiences and accomplishments of the last chapter and look forward to the hope and promise of the next chapter. Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Adams for receiving this year's Chancellor's Teaching Recognition Award. This award recognizes superior accomplishments in teaching, leadership and service, scholarly and creative work, librarianship, and faculty mentoring.
Congratulations to Dr. Judy Regensteiner and colleagues on the recent announcement of the newly named Ludeman Family Center for Women's Health Research. The new name recognizes the transformational commitments by Ms. Ludeman and her family and the incredible work Dr. Regensteiner and colleagues have done to become leaders in women's health and sex differences research. Please welcome Nikki Naples, BSN, RN, the new Practice Administrator at the Lowry IM clinic. Nikki is well-known at Lowry, having served as the Clinical Nurse Coordinator there for the past few years. We are fortunate to have Nikki taking on this new role within our clinic!
This month we got to celebrate National Nurses Week. We have incredible nurses on teams throughout the Division providing care and compassion for our patients, faculty, staff, and learners.

The Ludeman Family Center for Women's Health Research is now accepting applications for the 2021 Early-Career Faculty Research Development Awards. For more information about the awards, application process, and FAQs, please visit their website here. Applications are due Friday, June 18, 2021 by 5:00 pm MT.
Nominations are now open for the SOM Faculty Senate. The two offices open are President-Elect and Secretary. You can find the description of duties here (page 12) and the nomination process here. Following the nomination process there will be an election. The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 4, 2021 by 5:00 pm MT.
WellDOM is hosting a presentation, "Compassion Fatigue and Self Care," on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. The target audience is research and administrative staff. Click here to register.
