LAUNCH YOUR CAREER
Hello,
The Client Engagement team would like to let you know that we have begun the intake process for our next cohort of Launch Your Career at LEF! Please help us spread the word to your networks.
The next cohort will start on July 5th and it will be fully online via Zoom. To be eligible, youth must meet all of the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 15 and 30 years
- A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Convention Refugee
- Out of work and out of school
- Legally entitled to work in Ontario
- Able to commit to four weeks of workshops followed by up to 20 weeks of work placement
The first component of the program runs from Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM for four weeks and participants will learn job readiness and workplace communication skills. Participants are paid $14.25/hour for 35 hours/week to attend and should be comfortable being in front of the camera on Zoom for the duration of the program.
