Thanks for joining us at the Drive-in

We are so excited to host you at the FAVA Drive-in Awards Show today in Rundle Park. Tonight's show is hosted by the great Kelly Turner and Joey Lucis from Rapid Fire Theatre, and we promise you a night of laughter and fun from the comfort (and COVID-19 safety) of your own car.

Wait, that's not all!  If you haven't heard already, we are also providing snacks to complete your Drive-in Awards Night experience. Thanks to our great friends at Metro Cinema & Rock-It Travel, each person registered will receive a free small popcorn and pop. This can be picked up anytime between 2-9 PM at METRO CINEMA located at 8712 109 St NW. (Social Distancing in effect for pick-up). Just show your receipt for registering and pick up your goodies.

RUNDLE PARK (Family Centre Parking Lot)  - 2909 113 Ave NW
9:30 Arrival | 10:00 Awards Show Begins

  • Because of pandemic restrictions, we ask that you remain in your car for the duration of the show unless, of course, nature calls (please wear a mask to and from the portable washrooms and follow the six-feet distancing guidelines).

I didn't get a ticket when I registered for the Drive-in. How do I get in?

To make this as safe as possible, the FAVA FEST Drive-in is a ticketless event. So no need to bring anything or show your receipt. We will have volunteers placed at the parking lot entrance to check your name off the registration list. As per current COVID restrictions, you will also be asked some pre-screening questions to ensure everyone in your vehicle is healthy and happy!

What do I need to know about parking?

We got you covered. Once you have completed your verbal pre-screen, a parking assistant will direct you to a spot. The current guidelines state that all vehicles are parked 2 meters away from one another. Although you are required to stay in your vehicle for the duration of the event. (Except for when using the washroom) Once parked, you are allowed to roll down your windows.

What if I know one of the award winners?

The evening is about celebrating filmmakers and artists in our community, so feel free to honk your horn or yell out your window to congratulate them.  All of the above is acceptable. We encourage all things fun and COVID safe.
