Mark 3:20-35
Jesus began his ministry with a bang. He healed a man with an unclean spirit, healed a paralytic, healed many people at Simon’s house, invited a tax collector to follow him, bested the Pharisees in several controversies, to name a few accomplishments. In other words, it has been clear both to the crowds and to the unclean spirits that Jesus is working by God’s power, yet many disbelieved him, including his family members, who thought he was “out of his mind.”
Where would you stand if you were a member of the crowd observing these events 2,000 years ago? Are you part of Jesus’ family of God? Jesus says: “Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
