June News

Greetings, friend!  I hope this finds you well.  I am grateful you are receiving my email!

I am excited to share this installation of my work, Creative Connections, at Art in Motion on the Lake Wobegon Trail! (pictured above)  Though the exhibition has recently concluded, there are a few ways to engage with the work if you were unable to visit and see it in person!

This 60 second video highlights the installation of the work - it truly captures the incredible and exciting install while I was on the scissor lift!  This marks a shift in my work -- leaving the walls and becoming completely sculptural. This work is site specific and inspired by the 18 interns I worked with over the last 6 months.

Also, I recently held a live artist talk with Art in Motion's Art Coordinator, Lily Brutger where I discussed the inspiration behind this work, the process, and the narrative it symbolizes.  You can view it here.

Thank you Art In Motion on the Lake Wobegon Trail for the opportunity to experiment in your beautiful space!
COVID-19 Vaccines at MSP T2

I'm thrilled to share that there is a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic at MSP Airport in Terminal 2, directly next to my 180‘ x 22‘ installation of 122 Conversations!  Easy parking, super friendly staff and you can see art at the same time!  Though there is no appointment necessary, you can sign up or receive more information about the clinic here.
WAM Digital Collection

The Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, MN has a digital archive of their collection of works.  I am thrilled that six of my works are included among many other renowned artists!  Pictured is an acrylic and water-soluble crayon on canvas painting entitled Color Letter Painting from 2014.
Hong Kong public art exhibit

In other exhibition news, my work was recently included in the Central Station exhibition in Hong Kong.  The public art exhibition, located in Hong Kong's underground station, consisted of a series of billboards created by various artists.  The works were on view to 5 million people a day over the course of the 2 week exhibition.
Upcoming exhibition at Concordia

I am currently preparing for a solo exhibition and installation later this year at Concordia University in St Paul, MN.  The exhibition opening and artist talk will be September 16th.  Stay tuned for more details to come!

Heartfelt thank you for receiving my news, I’m grateful for you.
