The sun has arrived in Cornwall and it's wonderful to venture out after the lockdowns and to meet friends for coffees, ice-creams and walks :)
Have you managed to venture out a little more? I hope things are happy and well.

Little oil paintings...
Recently, I've been practising with oil painting even more, creating a series of small paintings (6 x 4" and 7 x 5") whilst exploring limited palettes. I absolutely love the alchemical magic of the myriad of colours that can be made from just two or three!

Applying the paints just as I apply the wools for felting - and often using fingers too.
I'm looking into framing these and am excited to see how they'll look.
These will be for sale and am very happy to post internationally (so much easier to send, and less worry than my feltings!) x

One last mention - my son is 16 later this month and I can't believe it. I also can't believe that he's finished his school years! Such an amazing human being - and a pure joy gift in my life too xxx Happy Birthday Jake xxx
