About The Chronicle of the Throne of Thorns
The Chronicle of the Throne of Thorns is a six-part adventure campaign of truly epic proportions. The adventures are freestanding but interlinked, meaning that you can play them as standalone adventures and/or with different sets of player characters, even though they are all part of the same evolving story.
Additionally, all chapters develop the setting of Symbaroum, by focusing on specific regions or settlements, introducing lots of lore, plot hooks, optional rules/guidelines, equipment, creatures and more.
To minimize the risk for spoilers, we will not touch upon the actual story. But if you are a Game Master, you are welcome to download the free PDF Throne of Thorns – Campaign Overview. It presents the episodes, the major factions involved and explains what is at stake.
Of course, the story that develops will vary greatly between different gaming tables, because of what decisions the PCs make, witch factions they consider allies or foes, and the will of the gods (i.e. the dice rolls). The same is true for the final outcome of the chronicle: the PCs has a chance to decide the fate of all!
