STUDIO NEWS

June Long Weekend
Just a reminder the Pilates studio and physio appointments with Kate is operating
as usual on Saturday June 12th
but we will be
closed for the public holiday on Monday June 14th

Thank you!
Thank you to everyone for your generosity during our week-long Biggest Morning Tea fundraising event! After a hiatus in 2020, we're happy to report we raised more than ever before with a total of over $1000

Pilates Pack Changes

We'd like to thank all our valued clients for your incredible support during one of the most difficult and uncertain periods we've ever faced.  We've been impressed by your dedication and energy and the team at Evolution Pilates & Activate Physiotherapy really appreciates your ongoing patronage.

We'd like to let you know that as of July 1st 2021 we will be implementing a small fee increase of between 2-3 percent, depending on which pack you purchase. For full transparency, our costs increased significantly across all areas of the business over the last year. We absorbed additional costs related to COVID-19 such as social distancing restrictions, which meant decreased class capacity, as well as increased cleaning and washing costs.

While restrictions have eased over the past few months, we're still in a recovery phase and feel that this is a necessary adjustment to ensure the longevity, consistency and quality of our classes.

Thank you again, we look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

STAFF NEWS

Q + A with our new Pilates Instructor
Caitlin Diggins

Q: How long have you been doing and/or teaching Pilates?
A: I've always enjoyed Pilates, especially after I injured my lower back in 2016. Pilates was the first form of exercise I started after this injury and I was keen to start teaching after I graduated as an Exercise Physiologist

Q: What's your favourite thing about Pilates?
A: I love how universally applicable Pilates is. It can be effectively used to manage chronic pain and specific conditions while allowing the body to move as it should, leaving you feeling mobile, balanced and strong

Q: What's your go-to position?
A: My favourite position would have to be swan dive. It's such a dynamic exercise but requires A LOT of control!

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
A: I love the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, going out for brunch in Balmain with friends and spending time with my family

Q: Favourite place to eat/drink near the studio and what you order there?
A: Not sure! Haven't been out in Annandale yet - so open to suggestions!

Caitlin is currently available Thursdays from 4-8pm
call or email reception to enquire about joining one of Caitlin's sessions

Stay tuned for a Q+A with Julia Di Kang next month.
She's an experienced Pilates Instructor and 4th year Physiotherapy student and we're excited to be welcoming her to the Pilates studio and our timetable in the weeks to come.
As always if you need to contact us don't hesitate to send us an email at info@evolutionpilates.com.au
