The Masque Theatre is hanging on, and we will make it through this year, with some very exciting news to share soon. Thank you to Clare Stableford who has made this newsletter possible, and all the members of our community who are contributing in a thousand little ways to ensure that this little theatre is open when the virus-dust has settled.

We are absolutely delighted to be opening our doors this June for a brand new Musical Extravaganza: The Boarding Line. This producing team knocked our socks off with the show 'This Moment' in December, so it is with excited anticipation that we share the invitation to warm up a winter evening: 21 Performers (Rehearsals with social distancing and masks on, it's quite a thing!) , velvet and spotlights...

From frequent flyers to newbie stewards - a colourful collection of characters descend on the ALW Airport one flustered morning - unbeknownst that some of them will be confronted with a day of non-stop turbulence.

From the producers of ‘This Moment, a musical cabaret’, comes this hilarious musical extravaganza set in the bustle of a glamorous and enigmatic airport. With a cast of 21 stand out performers who have been yearning for the stage for too long now, the audiences can expect a true show-stopper. From familiar favourites such as Part of Your World, Don’t Rain on my Parade and 9 to 5 to new musical nuggets such as Me and the Sky and Tonight Belongs to You, there is a toe tapping treat for everyone.

We ask that audience members please respect social distancing measures and that masks are worn wherever possible. Seating has been limited and daily sanitising within the venue is undertaken. All audience members will be subject to temperature checks before entering the venue, and requested to use our (fragrant) hand sanitiser. We value our patrons, and will do everything in our power to keep our cast, crew and audience safe.
