SUMMER CAMP! The words make me happy, and there is a happy buzz flowing through our hallways here at the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton! From literacy to outdoor play to ice cream treats - it finally looks, sounds and feels like summer!

Thank you so much for celebrating our 23rd birthday so generously last month! We were overwhelmed by all the good will that was shared with us, and the donations! It is not too late to give to our playground fund!

Our hardworking, dedicated staff had a staff retreat on Monday, June 21, to rest and rejuvenate prior to our summer camp. Many wonderful organizations helped us to provide this day of relaxation FREE of CHARGE! Thank you to BoJangles, Papa Johns, Kroger, Sgt. Jasper Park, the StretchZone, LiveLightHealing Massage, Starbucks, and Jack Frost Ice Cream!

The next day, this staff was hard at work, preparing for summer camp!

Susan Eliscu, our Volunteer Coordinator is BACK! And, we are happily signing up volunteers for the fall After School Programs. In an ordinary week, the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton will have over 100 volunteers helping with robotics, literacy, homework, sports, snacktime, "crowd control," Umoji drumming, art, and many other great programs!

We are back and better than ever! Please join us for the Par Fore Kids golf tournament on September 13, 2021. Mulligans and contests are included in this great price to enjoy the May River Golf Course at Palmetto Bluff!
The Dwaine Willett Career Launch program is the perfect way for young adults ages 14-18 to prepare for their first job. And you will get paid to complete the program! Applications to become a Junior Staff member next fall at the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton are only offered to DW Career Launch graduates.

EXPLORERS' L.E.A.D. is better than ever! NEW!! This Year!!! a DAY OF AVIATION CAREERS for our EXPLORERS' L.E.A.D. Club members! Thank you to the Civil Air Patrol of Hilton Head, as well as the Coast Guard and Hilton Head Airport. The Day of Aviation will be July 27.

And, back again, a Day on the Water on July 14, sponsored by America's Boating Club of Hilton Head, with leadership from Robert Newbert. You do NOT want to miss this year's program!
