When Grady O’Bryant was a teenager growing up in Brooklyn, N.Y., one of the treats was neighborhood family bus outings to the beach, a baseball game or an amusement park. When he was 17, he thought he could do a better job of organizing the outings, so he put together a bus trip to an amusement park in New Jersey.
“It over-sold,” he said.
O’Bryant is hoping for similar success with his latest venture, Sacramento Wine & Nightlife Tours, which he operates with his wife Gina.
He is encouraged by a recent booking, arranging tours for the 700 members of the American Wine Society who will be attending a national convention at the Hyatt Regency in November.
“I truly believe that Sacramento could be a better tour destination than it is, and that our wine tours will help that become true,” he said. READ MORE
