The Bible story this Sunday is found in Acts 2 verses 1 to 21 . In the reading we hear that Jesus’s disciples were all together when a sound like a blowing wind filled the whole house where they were sitting and what seemed like separate tongues of fire rested on each of them and all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.  The crafty activity this week is to make a headband like the one above to fit on your head by cutting out and joining strips of paper/card together long enough to fit your head.  You can colour this in red/orange or use coloured paper/card if you have some. Then print out & cut out the flames, colour them in and stick to the headband.  Wear this on your head to remind you that the Holy Spirit is always with you. If you have time why not have a go at the wordsearch based on the reading about Pentecost.

A prayer for Pentecost -
God of all, you sent your Holy Spirit to be with the disciples on the day of Pentecost and  filled them with joy, peace and courage. May we also be filled with your Holy Spirit and have your joy, peace and courage in our lives.  Amen.

Here’s a song to listen to -  Lean on You by Hillsong.

Don’t forget to show us your headband and/or pictures after the Zoom service on Sunday.
