Issue 51

Hello <<First Name>>,

Significant moments in our lives stay with us.

Whether they were moments of joy, sadness, anger, relief or other, we can all remember the impact they had, recognise how that moment shaped us and most importantly remember those present in support.

This Pentecost, let us also recall the moments where that support and presence is Divine and recognise the Spirit working within us and through us  - in the significant moments and especially in the ordinary moments in our lives.

FAITH GATHERINGS

Pentecost
Jesus recognised that his disciples were not capable of taking in everything at once.
Wisdom about life comes slowly and sometimes painfully.
We need to be ready and open to receiving the truth if it is to have any impact.
Wisdom is handed on from person to person, and from generation to generation, within families, within communities, etc.
Remember and give thanks for the people who have helped you to greater wisdom in life.

PRAYER
Come, Holy Spirit of God. Let us know again your presence and action in our hearts and lives. Help us to live by your gifts that we may know true freedom and inner peace. Amen.
(adapted from reflections on the Gospel by Kieran O’Mahony OSA, www.tarsus.ie )
Tune in to the streaming service before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.
The Scripture readings are available daily and for Sunday.
