Hi friends,

Tomorrow is our next womxn's spirituality group: Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 9:00-10:15 a.m. PST. Come to connect with like-minded folks, some shared silence, and get some food for your journey. Last time, we contemplated this piece from Khalil Gibran on Fear

It's a simple gathering on Zoom: we check in, spend some time in silence, read the piece, share about it, close in silence. I think you'll love it! Come on in:

resources for you

Okay, I wanted to subscribe to this one myself first so I could legitimately recommend it. Good News! I can recommend it. Marcie Alvis-Walker is the voice behind the study. She is also the voice behind the Instagram account, Black Coffee with White Friends. Each week, she puts together a compelling, focused study each week that arrives in your inbox. She just wrapped a 3-week study on anger in the Bible, complete with ponderings from Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers to you), and Solange. Yep, Solange P. Knowles. It's a rad study, well worth $5 a month.
Mercy Center, Burlingame offers twice-weekly centering prayer sessions online, and they are lovely! The centering prayer sessions last about 30 minutes and are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. PST and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. PST.
