New Zealand Nocturnes interview on Radio New Zealand

Hello I am Cody Ellingham, the creator of DERIVE.

For the last two years I have been working on a new photographic series – 'New Zealand Nocturnes'. I wandered the length of the country capturing the architecture and legacy of New Zealand homes under dark southern skies.

The series is about my personal connection to home and the country I left behind for many years. But more than that the images ask questions about what home really means as the dream of owning something as important as a house fades for many.

A selection of images will be showing at the Auckland Festival of Photography next month, and I hope to share details soon about something much bigger happening towards the end of the year ...
