Crosspoint Youth's Serve Sunday this week at 5 p.m. will focus on supporting the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi as part of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Students will be doing several projects that include making food bags for our homeless community, decorating rocks for MHASM's Kindness Rock Garden in Bayou View Park and motivational cards for individuals that are currently in the State Hospital.
The Serve Sunday projects will be done in the Crosspoint's Multipurpose Building. For questions, email Tyler Catchot.
Father's Day to include child dedications & baptisms
Crosspoint Church will be combining a couple of celebrations on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, including child dedications and baptisms.
Child dedications are simply an acknowledgement of the parent(s) commitment to raise their child in a Christian home and the church's commitment to come along side the family in support of that journey. Contact the Kid's Ministry Leader Heather Cagnato sign up.
Baptism services will also be held for anyone who has accepted Christ their personal Savior and wants to take the next step in declaring their faith publicly. Contact Pastor Israel Cox to discuss more.
Registration continues for 2021 Camp Create
Registration is continuing for Crosspoint Church's annual Camp Create. The creative arts camp is an incredible week of summer fun and excitement for kids entering 1st through 6th grade.
This year's pirate theme is "Prophets of the Mediterranean - Second Chance," which covers the story of Jonah. Each day starts with a high energy opener of music, then camp kids rotate through a series of arts-based classrooms including dance, puppets, drama, music, sign language and more.
Camp Create is free camp and open to the community, but is limited on a first-come-first-served basis.
