New Symbol holders announced!

Congratulations to the four latest amazing charities to be awarded the Lasting Difference Symbol! The Symbol recognises your commitment to sustainability principles, find out or sign up here.

The Oxygen Works provide oxygen therapy and personal support in the Scottish Highlands. They used the toolkit to focus their work on their core purpose - and communicate that to stakeholders.
“Having a clear appreciation of the need to evolve and adapt is crucial to our organisation." Leigh-Ann Little, CEO

Starcatchers, Scotland's early years and arts organsiation, made fittingly creative use of Lasting Difference thinking and tools in their plans and income generation strategy (it's the best we've ever seen!).

“The Lasting Difference provides such a clear framework for our organisational development. It fits perfectly with our purpose-led approach with clear processes for decision-making." Judith Walsh, Head of Development & Operations.
Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance promotes Independent Advocacy across Scotland. They used the toolkit to focus on involvement and impact, adapting and responding to members’ needs during the pandemic, and improving data collection and reporting.
“As a small organisation, the way we keep organisational sustainability as a central consideration has been to have regular discussions internally and with the board, and shape our work plan around member feedback.”  Rhona Wilder, Development Officer
Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire provides support to local community and voluntary organisations.
They reviewed their own strategic objectives through the lens of sustainability, which in turn helped them to identify new ways of supporting others. They are one of several CVSs we've been working with to build Lasting Difference capacity across the UK. They're already getting great feedback from the organisations they've supported to use toolkit, and we're proud to have them on board!
Naturally, some of our development work, including these newsletters, will slow down a little during this exceptionally busy year. But, just like always, we have lots of plans for more valuable resources and updates to come. And, just like always, our newsletter is where you'll get them first!
