76er Danny Green Auctioning Off an NFT of His 2020 Championship Ring

76ers Danny Green Supports BIT

New Renaissance (NR) and Philadelphia 76ers’ Danny Green are set to make a $50,000 donation from the proceeds of the NFT auction of an AR hologram of Green’s 2020 Championship ring. The platform and star athlete will be donating $10,000 of every $100,000 up to $50,000 to the Blacks In Technology Foundation from the online auction, which is happening now.

“As someone with a platform and the resources to educate myself, I want to encourage more people to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology,” Green has said. “It's important that people of color are involved and understand what's happening in the world of technology. I'm new to this space, learning as I work with New Renaissance, and I have a lot of questions to ask, but I'm hoping that more people of color will be inspired to start asking questions, too.”
