LIT is going Facebook Live!!
We are going to have a series of Facebook Live pop ups until the June 22rd primary election, sharing our LIT-endorsed candidates and ways you can get involved in races that excite you!
Join Guy Yedwab, Managing Director Emeritus, and Robert Gonyo, Director of Voter Engagement, Tuesday, May 25th at 1pm EST for our kick off!
If you can't come to the event tonight, we still encourage you to get to know these candidates!
Hantzopoulos is a longtime community organizer and activist, and holds a graduate degree in Educational Theatre from NYU. She spent 4 years as a teaching artist. Her website has a specific platform on supporting independent artists.
As an officer of Actors’ Equity, he helped lead the #FairWageOnStage movement to increase wages Off-Broadway. He also helped create the #BeAnArtsHero campaign that led to the $15billion relief fund included in the 2020 COVID-relief bill. He drafted an Arts and Culture pledge — we recommend you see who else signed it!
You will also find a description of the process LIT underwent to make these decisions. We are happy to discuss the process, and address any other questions you might have. Please email us at info@litny.org to talk more.
