Hi Everyone

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to an improvement in the weather.

With the proposed final loosening of Covid restrictions on 21st June, we are looking towards restarting our Sailability sessions in July. The final decision on going ahead will be taken by the committee based on advice from government and the RYA.

We are aware that after over a year of lockdown and restrictions some people will feel uncomfortable mixing with people again. We should like to know, what if anything would make you more comfortable in returning to Sailability?

Everyone in masks? At all times?
Temperature taken on arrival?
Everyone to do lateral flow tests?
Participants staggered arrival times so numbers of people on site are kept to a minimum?
Sanitising of boats between sails?

Thinking of specific activities
Should all meeting, greeting and life jacket fitting be done outside?
Access helms - are you happy sitting next to a participant? Masks?
Hoisting, are you happy to do this if participants wear masks?
Crabber and Wheelyboat- would you be happier if everyone wore masks? Reduce numbers.

I’m after views and suggestions that would make you feel happier to participate.
Let me know your thoughts.

Kind regards
Sue
