I just wanted to send a quick update on our shipping project! All is going well and we have had quite a few sponsor gifts and medicine donations come in. There is still time to get in on the action! We have moved the due date so now, all gifts need to be delivered to us by May 30th.

We desperately need medicine and basic first aid supplies for our school clinic. Many of you have already contributed but we still have more on our list. We have more room so we also added some toys for our preschool classes. Also, it would be amazing if we could get a few computers over. Sponsors:

• Gifts need to fit in a gallon size Ziploc bag. (It must be able to close, or we will have to take items out)
• You can write a letter to your sponsor child and enclose a photo if you’d like but please leave your last name off.
• Please do not send anything that will melt.
• Gift ideas include a t-shirt and/shorts, hair loop accessories for girls, belts for the boys, little toys such as cars or a small lego kit, costume jewelry, journal and pens, stickers, small coloring books. Really anything that is appropriate, won’t melt and can fit in a sealed gallon ziplock bag.
• Write child’s name on a notecard and place in the bag so we can read it.
• If you can help with shipping place a $5 or $10 bill in the bag and we will apply that toward costs.
