It’s time to talk vaccines. Do you know what to say to employees who are considering vaccination? We share tips for communicating on this subject in our latest blog post. And while the subject of research may sound, well, less than exciting, listen in on our latest Leaderboard interview and hear why it’s actually really cool stuff. Not to brag, but we’re the state’s leading public affairs and advocacy firm, and we’re hiring. Send hardworking people who love public affairs (and The Office) our way. Need help with your PR program? Call us. Consultations are always free.

Getting down and dirty to clean up Anchorage
We felt trashy earlier this month, so we grabbed the famous orange garbage bags and headed outside to help beautify our city. We want to thank our friends at Yuit and Thompson & Company for joining us.
We're getting back to real, in-person events!
We had a blast (get it?) at Alaska Resource Education's recent, sold out Sporting Clays Fun Shoot event. It felt good to attend a live, in-person event again in a safe, outdoor setting. Funds raised at the event will help ARE teach more Alaskans about our state’s natural resources, their uses, and related career opportunities.
COMMUNICATIONS CORNER

Now that COVID-19 vaccines are available to almost everyone, communicating respectfully with employees about vaccination is on many companies' minds. We offer tips for doing so in a way that is thoughtful and effective.
When should a company take a stance on political issues?
Political issues arising in the workplace are increasingly hard to avoid. When should a company speak up: never, always, somewhere in between? Here’s some advice on balancing how and when to get involved.

CLIENT LOVE
Keeping our communities beautiful
AKOG was a proud sponsor of several statewide cleanup events this month. Oil and gas employees and their families are part of our community, donating thousands of hours of volunteer time each year.  Thanks to the employees who helped keep Alaska beautiful again this year!
Sleeves up for Summer!
Let's get Alaska up and running by rolling up our sleeves and vaccinating this summer. The Department of Health and Social Services has many COVID-19 vaccination appointments available for individuals ages 12 and older.
