BSL at 53two theatre and bar: We are really excited to have provided BSL classes this month for staff at 53two performance arts theatre and bar.

From 21 June: The 50+ social group is back meeting in person!

All Deaf and deafened adults aged 50 plus and resident in Manchester or surrounding areas are welcome to attend, and can be reassured that Covid safety provisions are in place.

New walking group every other Thursday from 10 June

Come and enjoy a friendly walk with refreshments and equipment provided.

Employment, Training and Enterprise help is face-to-face again

WEA Maths Course clients are now back at the Deaf Centre along with the Employment Service, which can help with CVs and job searches. Accessible self-employment support will soon be available.

Get On!

Manchester Deaf Centre Prince’s Trust project includes motivational activities with things to do at home, mentoring, job and career guidance and practical workshops such as help with your CV and how to prepare for an interview, starting in June. Get On! is for young people who are Deaf, Deafened, Hard of Hearing or (CODA) Children of Deaf Adults, and not in education, employment or training.
