ONCOLOGY REHABILITATION

Hello everyone!

Oh no, here we go again! I hope everyone is staying safe during this current (and hopefully short) lockdown. Hand Therapy is an essential service so if you've suffered a hand injury or are experiencing pain, it's important to seek treatment. We are open for you throughout lockdown conducting both telehealth and in-clinic appointments.

We are very excited to introduce to our team Tamryn Riemann. Tamryn is a highly experienced occupational therapist with a special interest in breast and upper limb lymphoedema, splinting and repetitive strain injuries. See her article below on Oncology Rehabilitation and Breast Cancer Care.

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. Symptoms include painful, swollen joints and restricted movement. If you or someone you know suffers from Osteoarthritis, you might be interested in this month’s free information webinar. The degenerative nature of this condition means that individuals experience an increase in pain and find a steady reduction in hand movement, strength and ability to participate in meaningful activities.

So, you may ask, what can I do? And how can a Hand Therapist really help me?...[Read More]
