From the Bishop of Derby's office
The Revd June Scott and the Revd Jenn Willis, Derby Diocesan Clergy Widows’ and Widowers’ Officers, stood down from this role with effect from 31 May 2021.

The Revd Paul Desborough, Assistant Curate of Derby St Alkmund and St Werburgh, has been appointed part-time Priest-in-Charge (to be known as Enabling Minister) of Sinfin Moor LEP and part-time Bishop’s Advisor for New Housing.
The Revd Stella Greenwood, Assistant Curate of Swadlincote and Hartshorne, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Etwall and Egginton and Assistant Curate (known as Minister Responsible) of the parishes of Dalbury, Sutton on the Hill and Trusley (within the benefice of Boylestone, Church Broughton, Dalbury, Longford, Long Lane, Radbourne, Sutton on the Hill and Trusley).
The Revd Nigel Elliott, Vicar of Sinfin, has announced his retirement. Mr Elliott’s last day in post will be 31 July, with his retirement taking effect from 1 August 2021. Mr Elliott will be moving away from the diocese in retirement.
The Revd David Higgon, formerly Associate Priest in Crich and South Wingfield, retired on 24 April 2021. He will be granted Permission to Officiate in the North West Charge in the Diocese of Moray, Ross, and Caithness in the Scottish Episcopalian Church.
